A taste of the new Up Mine, Sunshine album.
Good friend Casey just release his latest, much anticipated, Ascension Recordings & Publications Compilation 2012!
Up Mine, Sunshine has a new song on it called Open Your Eyes which is one of the first things I recorded after my year-long music making break. It has 1960’s self-help samples and features Ashley on sax for the first time since junior high jazz band! haha! Its about true happiness, 100% happiness. Most happiness, I consider only 50% happiness because you can’t have the happy without the sad. This “100% happiness” is more of a peaceful feeling that is beyond our normal concepts of happy or sad. It’s track 2 on the comp.
Also of note, if you slow down the word happiness, it sounds like “Ha Penis”. Or is it just me?
The rest of the tracks are pretty awesome. I think it’s Casey’s finest comp yet. You can actually hear the artists progress from comp to comp. Check them all out! For FREEEEE!!!

Up Mine, Sunshine wishes your rapture was a safe one. We will be giving an eons long concert on the left cloudbank closest to the non-local-event-generator. The concert will go until the big Satan vs. God showdown. Robes optional.
Here are some more demos for this beautiful green spring day. More synths, drum machines, and samples for your ears to sample. Lots of playing with new techniques and trying shit out for the fun of it.
Bad news is that my computer broke in March and it will be a while before I finish these up. If ever. I have a short interest span. Maybe some non-computer music is in order?
